For several women, one of the most disturbing physical experiences which can occur during their life is becoming an individual experiencing baldness. While this condition is often found with men, the numbers of women experiencing hair loss are increasing and the science that is incorporated in determining its causes is just just starting. When you find that you might be experiencing balding patterns, its important to identify the condition which might be affecting you and identifying solutions which could help in overcoming this problem. The following identifies some of the top causes of hair loss in women, so as to improve your possibilities to overcoming this physical problem.

Cause One: Androgenic Alopecia
Androgenic alopecia is the main possible cause for hair loss in women. This particular illness is often associated with male pattern baldness but has been present in some cases involving women. This particularly relates to the overproduction of testosterone and other enzymes which damage hair follicles and result in follicle death. New hair strands are not being produced and this result produces the signs of balding.

Cause Two: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
The second of many potential causes of hair loss in women is found with the condition of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. This is a hormonal condition which a large number of women have. Several women never have this condition diagnosed correctly as the only physical signs of problems are generally seen with the beginning of balding. Identifying this condition is vital in order to avoid future problems that may develop as you age.

Cause Three: Telogen Effluvium
The third of several potential causes of hair loss in women is found with the condition of telogen effluvium. This cause of baldness in women is the often experienced by women who have had considerable stresses placed on the body. The damage created to the natural hair growth system is usually present following something as physically traumatic as childbirth. Other factors can create this complication such as surgery, crash dieting, or a significant traumatic emotional event.

These are just few of the many reasons for the cause of hair loss in women. One cause to avoid concerning yourself with is found with the misconception that in order to lose hair, it has to be a biological pattern in your family. The reality is that hair loss for women could occur at any point in time, therefore identifying a cause as soon as possible would assist you in finding the best solution to preventing this loss.

These days, our daily grooming routine has emphasized the importance of our physical appearance. It is irrefutable that our hair has the capability to transform the way we look and the way other individuals see us. Both men and women are susceptible to this fact. So, what’s the best hair care solution? What is the procedure of keeping your hair healthy?

There are many ways by which our hair can be damaged, but there are many ways to prevent it from happening as well. Even hair treatments can be availed of if such things can’t be avoided.

Choosing the appropriate salon hair products is important since this may greatly affect your hair’s condition. As a matter of fact, you must know that these products aren’t there just to be utilized as remedies to hair problems. Several hair products are created for protection purposes, this is to prevent hair damage from taking place or as hair supplements to minimize the effects of hair damage due to various factors like hereditary or genetics, pre-existing illness, chemicals, and lifestyle.

Getting yourself acquainted with the do’s and dont’s of hair care is important in order to not ruin your halo. Its advantageous to remember the following guidelines:

• Keep in mind that your skin plays a big role in your hair. So as to prevent irritation from any salon hair product, you need to know and comprehend the type of skin you have. In case your skin on your head is damaged as a result of irritation, there is a big chance that hair damage or hair loss will follow.

• Choose only what is essential. You do not need to over feed your hair with so many products, the chemical contents or composition could ruin the natural balance of your hair, thus, damaging it. Salon hair products are specially formulated to cater to numerous hair requirements and its ideal that the usage of such is supervised by those who are trained for hair care.

• Choose organic or natural products as much as possible (eg. Plant or seed oils)

• Consider provitamins or supplements.

• Hygiene plays a big role. It is important that you cleanse your hair correctly.

• Have a balanced life-style in order to avoid stress.

• Know the definition of CORRECT Nutrition.

Aside from the mentioned logical tips, you must never forget to consider the condition and status of your hair. Again, salon hair products are particularly made in order to function depending on your hair state (colored, treated, dry, permed, etc.)

Are you looking for organic hair products for curly hair? Don’t know where to find a perfect one? Then, just logon to http://www.EvelynProducts.com and select from a range of organic hair products made exclusively for curly hair.

Only a ladies will know how irritating it is to apply, reapply and take off makeup every single day! Even if I don’t get completely glammed up every day, I nevertheless wear lipstick, eyeliner and a dab or two of mascara. Even when you wear it minimally you still have to take it off every night or your skin would get oily and you will break out. This is not a simple thing for any lady. Well, it is sort of fun but time consuming and even annoying putting it on, but taking it off, forget it! There is something else which is available for you if you feel the similar way about using makeup – Permanent Makeup.

This makeup is becoming one of the highlight gimmicks in the Hollywood World. Woman and few guys have started using permanent makeup techniques that are available. This is a process, so you would have some recuperation time of about 3-7 days, after you get it done. However, this does not stop many people because the benefits absolutely outweigh the inconvenience.

>>> First off, this is such a time saver! Once your permanent makeup is completely healed you don’t need to go through that irritating hour of putting your makeup on, as it is already there!

>>> Second off it makes the individual look very young. This does not necessarily mean a 90 year old woman would look 30, but if you’re in your 40s and 50s you could end up looking anywhere from 5-10 years younger with permanent makeup because its perfectly placed.

>>> Thirdly, it would be tattooed to your skin. This means that it is done perfectly and there is no need to fix it ever again! A lot of woman feels self conscious when they’re out because they fear that their makeup has gone awry. You’ve been there! You just got done eating lunch at one of your favorite spots and you have to run to the bathroom to make sure the soup du jour did not rub your lipstick off! Well, with permanent makeup you do not have to worry about this anymore.

This is also cool for sporty chicks who wear makeup to go jogging or go to the pool to exercise. You can get the permanent makeup done for eyebrows, lip liner, full lips, and eyeliner.

Some ladies also get this everlasting alternative because of other reasons. They do not care about reapplying or adjusting their makeup. They might have skin or facial scars, Alopcea (hair loss) or Vitiligo, ( white pigment spots) which they cannot hide well the regular makeup. Making them feel very self conscious unless they have makeup on. Well, with permanent makeup you’ll always have something to cover your imperfections so you will not have to worry about looking anything, but beautiful!

Are you fed of applying eyeliner every day? Do you have little or no eyebrows and always have to pencil them in? Do you find yourself continually reapplying lip liner and lipstick throughout the day? If your answer is yes for any of the above questions then Permanent Makeup is answer for all the above problems and much more and http://www.prettyfacemedispa.com/ which has been recognized as a leader in Permanent Makeup with 1000s of satisfied customers can be a best place for you.

For many women, their hair is like a crown that they wear everyday. Well maintained hair takes a lot of work, time and the right products. There are different hair products categorized according to the hair type. Using the right hair products will ensure you look your best while keeping your hair healthy.

Relaxed hair

This refers to curly or natural hair that has been straightened out using chemicals. The relaxer used transforms the basic chemical structure of the hair strands and makes them straight.

Products used on this type of hair get rid of the frizz while keeping the hair shinny and prevent heat damage.

When washing your hair, shampoo designed to suit dry hair should be used at least weekly. Straightening conditioner on the other hand helps to keep the hair healthy and prevents it from looking dull. This leaves it shiny and silky. The best oils to use on the hair include jojoba, coconut, almond and olive oil. You should avoid moisturizers with petrolatum and mineral oils and instead opt for water based ones.

This type of hair tends to be more fragile compared to the rest. Products used should minimize breakage. A curl keeper can be used to avoid dryness and control the curls. Curl control can be applied on the hair to intensify and define the curls while moisturizing the hair and scalp.

Hot oil treatment is used to prevent damage of hair and reduce hair breakage. You can apply styling cream to give your hair a perfect look and using moisturizer for a great shine.

Ethnic Hair

It is the curliest hair of them all and tends to be dry. Products used should work towards controlling breakage, stopping hair loss leaving the hair looking strong healthy and beautiful. To control the dryness, scalp oil is essential. Use of a hydrating shampoo enhances the natural oils in the hair leaving the hair shiny. A styling lotion protects the hair during heat treatments such as hot iron and blow drying.

Color Treated Hair

Invest in a shampoo that will coat the hair strand to prevent them from stripping while protecting the hair from UV rays and pollutants. A conditioner that helps maintain the color can be used and should also have light-reflecting qualities A thermal protectant spray is necessary for use with blow dryer, curling irons and hot styling tools. Whatever be your hair type, ensure that you use the right products.

Jojoba Oil for Added Moisture…

Jojoba oil is widely known for its deep penetrating and quick absorption qualities. Jojoba Oil is also an excellent emollient. It mimics our own natural collagen. The oil is yellow and sticky, somewhat like vegetable oil.

Shedding

Try removing tangles and snarls with your fingers instead of a comb. Nearly, if not all hair that comes out will be shedded hair. Which means, hair that has completed its growth cycle and has been released from its follicle. Of course if you have an unusual amount of shedding you should see your doctor. Hint: look closely at the hair being shedded. If the end has a white tip then it was released by a dead root.

Knotted Ends

Knotty hair ends mean it’s time for a trim. Natural-haired people tend to believe unprocessed hair doesn’t need trimming. Trimming the ends helps to get rid of split-ends, knots in the hair and damaged follicles. You should have a professional stylist trim the ends.

Lint Control

If you continue to have lint problems even after washing your hair, you may need to switch hair oils. If you are using petroleum based products (made from the same kind of oil that is used in your car!) then switch to a natural hair oil. Petroleum grease is heavy and does not easily wash out. If you don’t want lint balls then stop using petroleum or mineral based hair oils. Try some of these natural oils: shea butter, jojoba oil, or coconut oil. Before applying the natural oil, wash your hair with a deep cleansing shampoo, this will help remove some of the petroleum build up.

Collect beautiful hair accessories. Hair sticks, clips, ribbons, bands, ties, and scarves. These will come in handy when trying to create new styles or simply sprucing up your existing style.

Twisting Locs

Try twisting your locs after a shampoo (while they are still damp/wet) , it makes the processer easier and it’s better for the hair.

The Delicate Hairline

Braiding the hair in the same direction/style over a long period of time, especially around the delicate hairline. The hairline is usually the most fragile and delicate area, so change that off-the-face hairstyle occasionally. Constant pressure to the same area can weaken the hair over a long period of time.

Create nubian knots or china bumps:

1. Part the hair into 1 inch sections (smaller for small bumps)

2. Twist the sectioned hair around your finger to create a twist

3. Take the twist and coil it around itself (think of winding thread on a spool) until it forms a knot or bump

When you slop oil or heavy pomades on in an attempt to get the same type of shine those women with naturally straight hair have, it looks greasy. It’s better to apply a transparent color glaze or try one of those shine products containing silicone or dimethicone instead

Synthetic Hair for Braiding

When using synthetic hair for braiding, use Kanakalon. This is softer and doesn’t dry-out the hair as much as the other brands.

Locs and Your Roots

If you are interested in growing small-sized locs be sure your hair is pretty strong. Roots are everything when it comes to locking. As your locs grow they tend to pull more on the roots. So be sure to keep them healthy and strong. The crown of the head is most susceptible to breakage, believe it or not.

For Stronger Hair. Naturally.

Brew rosemary and Indian hemp together, after it cools rinse the hair with the tea. This is good for all natural hairstyles. Great after taking braids out, which can leave the hair weak and dry (not recommended for synthetic hair styles). Keep it in the fridge for later use.

Many of us have had the not so pleasant experience of buying a shampoo for one particular reason (i.e. deep cleansing) just to turn around and realize that the shampoo has a negative effect on another part of your head (i.e. dry scalp). Well, I have some good news and some bad news to share with you. The bad news is that there is no one shampoo for every hair type, you, your hair and your scalp are unique. The good news is that with some research and experimentation you can find the right product for you.

The number one thing to remember when choosing a shampoo is to read and reread the ingredient label!! We cannot stress this enough. Many sisters and brothers look at the Afro centric
designed packaging and the few descriptive words on the front label but pay little to no attention to the ingredients. Pronouncing those crazy words is difficult enough, not to mention knowing what they mean for your hair. Understanding the ins and outs of your shampoo can make or break your hair. Find a shampoo that is both nourishing and gentle to your hair and scalp.

Here is what you need to know.
